The owner is really friendly, and the price is great. You’re close to Alaun street, just across the street after a block, with loads of bars, cafes, and restaurants. From the villa you can walk to the old town or catch the tram. The rooms are amazing, and the garden is lovely and romantic. The name says it all.
The host made us feel welcome, and the place was a cute, convenient base in Dresden. Recommended.
Lovely people, and a beautiful, quaint place.
The tram outside makes getting around easy. Two trams can take you to the old town in just a few minutes, and the guesthouse is in the new town, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. There’s also a bakery and a Rewe across the street, with a bakery and hot food counter before checkout, handy if you’re watching your budget. The downside is the tram noise right outside. The owner is exceptionally friendly and takes lovely care of guests. That warmth suits the Villa Romantika decor, which carries the same theme through the entrance, stairwell, breakfast room, and rooms. There are lots of little antique furnishings and decorations. The rooms are charming, though some might find the style a bit kitschy. The mattress was neither too hard nor too soft, and breakfast was perfectly adequate for just under €10.
The owners were very friendly, and our room was beautifully furnished with its own bathroom. It’s a very nice house, with free Wi-Fi and parking. I’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.
