After a long day exploring Dresden, I slept well in the comfortable bed. My room was clean and lovely, with all the basics I needed: a bed, TV, writing table, wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower, towels, and even a bidet. Thank you.

It was so nice staying in a quiet neighborhood, with a tram stop about a five-minute walk away. The room was spacious and clean, and all the staff were kind. For me, it’s the best hotel, and I recommend it to everyone.

Check-in was easy even though I arrived late, and the service was nice. Breakfast was varied, tasty, and nicely presented in a pleasant room. My room had a big bed, TV, and private bathroom, and was clean, just what I needed. Line 9 makes it easy to get to the center.

My stay at Villa Seraphium felt special from the start. I’ve never experienced staff who combined such professionalism with real hospitality. They made me feel like part of the Villa, not just a guest. When the hot water failed on the night I arrived as temperatures were dropping quickly, it had already been fixed by the next morning. The building itself has a rich history and feels like much more than an ordinary hotel. A Polish-Lithuanian princess built it roughly 200 years ago, and you can still feel that sense of royalty. The rooms have high ceilings, the doors and other details feature elaborate wood carvings, and the passage between the princess’s quarters and the former servants’ area is a sight in itself. The Villa sits in a cozy, central part of Dresden, and you can reach the attractions on foot or by public transport. Both are safe ways to get around “Elbflorenz,” though I recommend walking since you get to see more of what may be Germany’s most interesting city. There was no breakfast because of Corona. I wonder what specialties I’ll get to try once the pandemic is over. I’ll definitely return to Villa Seraphium. A little tip: ask for room 15, with the tiny red angel on the door, if you want a special view and some peace and quiet.

The #9 Tram stop is less than a five-minute walk away and takes you into town. It’s a great place to stay. The only drawback for us was the poor WiFi in our room, though our companions had better reception.
