It’s modern inside and feels clean and new, but the service wasn’t good for me. If you’re from outside Europe and expect good service, this might not be the place. I know good service can be hard to find in Germany, but this reminded me of a SpringHill. There isn’t a full-service restaurant. They serve frozen pizza from a pizza oven, which is pretty decent, and the bar was very average, with low-level bartenders. Housekeeping more than once during a seven-day stay costs 25 euros. At 300 a night, I’d expect fitted sheets instead of flat ones. Maybe that’s a Euro thing, but it’s a hard pass for me. There’s no outdoor patio, just some seats for smokers. They wouldn’t let me check in before 3pm, even though they had rooms open. I even offered $100 cash to check in at noon, but they still wouldn’t do it. If you’re going to the Messe center, stay at Raddison Blue instead. The service and vibe are much better.

Good value for concert goers and young people, especially if you’re headed to PSD Dome, which isn’t very far. Our room was clean and cozy, and actually pretty big, with a bar and small kitchen. I can highly recommend it.

The studio was spotless and the location worked well, within walking distance of the train station and some supermarkets if you need to shop. The staff were absolutely amazing. Huge thanks to Dany for going the extra mile to sort out our booking issue, and to Yazzan for being so welcoming and friendly.

There are shops not far away, and the hotel is also not far from the airport. I had a large room with a kitchen, including all the utensils for cooking, and the beds were comfortable. They also have a laundry area and a small gym.

I stayed at the candlewood suites for two nights this time. The room was spacious, with all the essential facilities, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure. WiFi worked throughout the building, and breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold dishes, plus good tea options. It was good value for money. The candlewood suits share a new building with Holiday Inn - the niu, Hub Dusseldorf Messe, with the reception in the middle. There are lots of rooms and suites. The suites’ main advantage is the kitchenette, with a microwave, mini fridge and so on. The location is roughly halfway between the city center and airport, about 15 minutes by taxi to either. Aldi is a 10-minute walk away. Recommended.
