We stayed five days, three of us, in the one-room ground-floor apartment with garden access. It felt like a five-star camping trip to us. Our youngest slept on the sofa, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The beach was a five-minute walk away, and shops and a bakery were very close. The owner was away, though, and getting in touch, even by mobile, wasn’t great, so I’ve taken off a star.

The owners were so friendly and attentive, and clearly take good care of their guests. We felt very comfortable. The apartment is spacious, cozy, beautifully furnished, and well equipped. It’s right by the lovely beach and in a perfect central spot, at the end of the shopping street but still very quiet. Everything is just a minute’s walk away. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely come back!

Sebastian gave us such a warm welcome and straight away pointed out free parking beside the apartment. The place is spacious with high ceilings, freshly renovated, very clean, and beautifully furnished. The appliances are modern, including the stove and dishwasher. Its location at the end of Eckernförde’s promenade is excellent, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and the fine, clean sandy beach close by. At the end of May the water was clear and already quite warm. It stays shallow for a few meters, so the sun warms it up, which was perfect for the children. We’d gladly stay here again.

The broken dishwasher meant we had to do all the dishes by hand, which really should have been checked beforehand. Too bad. The apartment is quiet and very central, with everything a holidaymaker might need. There was no radio, and the bathroom is a little dated.
