For a two-day business stay, the hotel was generally okay. The people at reception and breakfast were friendly, and the service was good. The bed was comfortable, clean, and smelled fresh, and I really liked the hearty breakfast. Facilities were acceptable, though the property feels a bit dated. Prices seemed a little high when we visited, but it was holiday season. My room was the letdown. There were toothpaste splashes under the mirror, suitcase marks on the wall, and very dirty chairs. I gave housekeeping another day to deal with it, but those things were still there. The walls could use refreshing as well. The rest of the stay was fine, but they need to improve the room cleaning.

We spent the last week of May here and really enjoyed it. The hotel was quiet, with the lake within walking distance and local sights just a short drive away. Staff were friendly, the place was neat and clean, and breakfast was nice for a good price. We'd stay again.

The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were spacious with new bathrooms. The hotel has a really nice style and was spotlessly clean.
