We had a lovely time on the terrace in the beer garden, eating delicious grilled food with our children, grandchildren, and dog for Mother's Day lunch. The server was very friendly and brought our drinks right away. The food took quite a while, but everyone enjoyed it, and the children were warmly welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will definitely come back if we're in the Mühltal again.

We were looking for a light lunch and first tried a nearby mill, but it was only open for business. Moving on to the Walkmühle turned out to be a nice surprise. The hosts were very, very friendly, the terrace is great for sitting, and the food selection is good with fair prices. They have bratwurst, grilled pork, fries, ice cream, cake, and cold drinks from beer to soda. The menu highlight for me was potato dumplings and fries, served sweet with sugar and cinnamon and applesauce, or savory with things like hollandaise sauce or cheese dip, though I'm not sure those are available. I think that's a fantastic, unusual option. Card payments are accepted, too. A great place to visit, and we'll definitely be back. Keep it up!

The restrooms were old but clean, and the service was very friendly. But an hour's wait for a bratwurst is unacceptable. With a sign outside saying "The grill is on fire," I expected it to come quickly. What a shame. The beer was also four months past its expiration date.

The food was super fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with love. The hosts were incredibly kind and genuinely charming, and we haven't had such a wonderful welcome in a long time. They were lovely with their guests. A must-eat place if you're traveling through the Mühtal valley. 🤗

The staff were super friendly and lovely, and the Thuringian specialties were really delicious, presented with care and style. We'll definitely be back.
