The rooms felt cozy and homey, and everything was clean and well looked after. The beds were comfortable and clearly kept in good condition, too. The owner(?) was really kind and welcoming, and the restaurant served tasty, filling food. I’d happily recommend staying here if you get the chance.

I’ve been back once a year for six years, and the food has been outstanding every time. There’s a lovely garden dining area, with part of it covered, and the cooking is excellent, though service can take a while. The updated rooms are very nice, and the Wi-Fi finally works properly. The owner can seem annoyed when you ask for the password. Breakfast is a good, solid buffet.

The rooms are plain and no-frills, but very, very clean and have everything you need. It’s a popular spot with local diners, which is always a good sign, and there’s a varied menu with good food. The hotel, pub, and restaurant are handy for Würzburg and the surrounding area, and close to the motorway.
