I stayed here a few years ago and had a really good time. The room and amenities were great, and so was the food. My favorite part was the basement, with its sort of beer and games room. A fantastic Blackwood Forest Hotel.

The gardens are lovely, and the location is beautiful. The rooms are big, the food is delicious, and there are plenty of bright meeting rooms. I did notice that it can get a bit stuffy, and there’s a busy road nearby, but neither stopped me from enjoying the gardens.

I’m late writing this, since I stayed about 2 years ago. It’s a beautiful farm, with a spacious, modern, clean hotel. The restaurant had good food and wine, and I loved the room.

A very nice place, with a Vinothek and vine from Island Mariannenaue. Fantastic! It was once the castle of the Princess of Netherlands, when the Prussian family were banned from here. She was an art collector, but only a few paintings from the former museum survived. There are also marble sculptures hidden in the park behind the building.

If you want a quiet, romantic weekend, this is a wonderful place. The hosts are wonderful too. Highly recommended.
