We stopped in on a whim and had a lovely lunch. The lunch specials are tasty and reasonably priced, and I recommend the restaurant.

I live nearby and have eaten here before, but I haven't stayed at the hotel. I'm moving back to the USA and trying to clear out my apartment next week, so I tried to book a reservation. Google Search lists the place as "Pet Friendly," but I was told they don't allow pets. Maybe that's only for now, or perhaps it's a new change. The same thing happened when I searched for Hotel Kolbl, which also showed up as "Pet Friendly" even though it doesn't allow pets.
8/10
The food was good and reasonably priced, and we had a laugh over flashbacks to VHS tapes and Walkman cassette players. Like many restaurants in Germany, the place feels like a trip back to the 80s, though it's not bad. The cash machine was 'broken,' so we had to pay in cash. A decent German restaurant.
10/10
Even with my limited German, the service was great. Fantastic food too, and the steak was cooked just right.
10/10
The staff were really attentive, and the food was delicious, seasoned just right. Great restaurant, and really well priced.
