Ferienhaus Sieglinde

There were seven of us in the family, and we never had a problem finding enough seats. The house is right in the center of Erden, close to cycling and hiking routes. Our hostess greeted us warmly and showed us around. Everything was very clean, with the essential cooking utensils provided. We also found a bottle of Moselle wine waiting for us. For families with little kids, one room has cribs, a highchair, and childproof electrical outlets. We were really happy with the place.

The kitchen had everything we needed, including pots, casserole and baking dishes, all sorts of glasses and cups, a toaster, and a fully automatic coffee machine. There were toys and board games too. We got useful tips about restaurants and nearby shops as soon as we arrived. From the first phone call, the hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming. When we said we had a toddler, she offered a changing table and crib at no extra charge. The apartment lived up to that first impression: spotlessly clean, with a welcome bottle of wine in the kitchen and a Capri-Sun for our child. I honestly had nothing to complain about, even compared with some more expensive hotels I've stayed in. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We don't regret booking it at all.

Wineries and restaurants are within walking distance, and the location was good. We especially liked the covered courtyard and its seating. The hostess was very friendly, there were lots of toys for children, and a crib was provided without any fuss. It's an old house, but that can be part of the charm. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The upstairs bathroom and bedroom are modern, and the bedroom can be darkened easily.

We had a fantastic family holiday in this large, well-kept house, with plenty nearby for young children to do and a restful setting. Rastschenke, the little restaurant across the way, serves delicious food at very affordable prices. Dunja was wonderfully hospitable, easy to reach, and helpful whenever we needed her.
