Alpenglühn

We spent four nights here in the middle of September 2024 and had beautiful views from our balcony. The river flowing beside the road helped us sleep soundly. We had breakfast here one morning, and it was perfect, just right before heading out for adventures. We also had our laundry done, and opening my fresh clothes at home brought back memories of Berchtesgaden. I'd stay here again if we return.

Peter and the team made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to give our family a special holiday. The motto of Ferienaparadies Alpenglühn is "come as a guest, come again as a friend," and they really live by it. Our family of two adults and a 9 year old stayed in the Hoher Göll apartment and felt perfectly comfortable. The large balcony, with its full-sized dining table, was a favorite. The finishes were high quality and everything worked well, while the kitchen had plenty of tools and dishes. The whole property was spotless and well situated. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and dinners onsite, and felt comfortable with the COVID-19 considerations. We'd love to join Peter and his team again, and highly recommend the place. All the best, and thank you!

The food was good, and the apartment itself was nice. The jacuzzi and sauna were available whenever you wanted during their set hours. But the owners often came into the house without knocking, and it never felt like home to me. Free parking wasn't always available, and paying by credit card came with a 3% fee.

Peter welcomed us so warmly that Alpengluehn felt like home right away. The rooms were spotless and the spa facilities were beautiful, and our stay exceeded what we expected. He served a wonderful breakfast and even put together a little travel itinerary with great sightseeing suggestions. I'd happily return and recommend this resort. Thanks, Peter!
