Hotel Linner

The breakfast was good, but what really stood out was the reception staff and that warm, friendly feeling from the management. We stayed five nights on two occasions this year and highly recommend it. It’s a practical, friendly hotel, right on the bus route to the airport and only a five-minute walk from the lovely old town centre. There’s parking for cars and bicycles underneath.

The room was spacious, with a big, very comfy bed, and it was great value for the price. Reception service was superb, polite and professional. Such a nice hotel in a great spot in Erding. We’d stay again!

The surroundings are pretty quiet, and the garden view was nice, though I was there in winter and couldn’t enjoy it. It’s on the edge of Erding city centre, not especially close to anything, and the low price reflects that. The room was small but acceptable. The shower partition smelled stale, even from the toilet door. I tried rinsing it with hot shower water, but the smell returned once it dried. Water also ran out of the shower area, so I had to use a floormat to keep it from spreading. Check-in isn’t staffed around the clock, so watch your arrival time. You use a card key to enter the main door when it’s unmanned.

Breakfast was easily the highlight, top notch, with a big variety of local food, good coffee and tea, plus eggs and bacon. The hotel feels cosy and welcoming. My room was spacious, with a sofa, chair, table and small desk, and the shower was luxurious with plenty of hot water. There’s no AC, though. Parking is plentiful, including an indoor garage that opens with the room key. Be sure to get a code for the room key before you arrive.
