The staff were very polite, and I found the rooms spotless and well kept. I had a comfortable, enjoyable five-day stay at this lovely hotel. There’s a small balcony for looking outside, plus umbrellas for guests when it rains. The morning buffet is large, with plenty to choose from. Hot water, a little radio in the bathroom, a library shelf, and a vending machine for late-night snacks were all there too. It’s within walking distance of the bus stand. I’d recommend it to business travelers and small families.

We were fine with paying €15 per guest for breakfast for the two mornings we booked when we arrived. Later, though, we noticed the in-room guide listed breakfast at €9,90 per guest. When we pointed it out, a staff member said that rate was for children, even though the guide clearly said per guest, as we showed her. The owner was rude when we tried to discuss it, repeatedly interrupting and not letting us speak. That’s no way to treat guests, and I don’t think someone like that belongs in the hotel business.

Hotel Garni was very clean, and breakfast was excellent. Gabriela gave us such a warm welcome and wonderful service. She, her husband Toni, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind. I’ve never felt as at home in a hotel as I did here.

It’s a small, clean hotel, and I slept really well. The staff were lovely, breakfast was decent, and the Wi-Fi worked well. There were enough sockets for all my devices, five smartphones and laptops in total, and free parking behind the hotel.

The staff were very pleasant, and my room was clean, with a new bathroom that had music. This hotel deserves more than three stars.
