The room was reasonably clean when we arrived, but it was cramped and there was hardly any storage to unpack. It works for an overnight stop, though I wouldn't find it comfortable for a longer stay. If your room faces the highway, it's really loud, so you have to keep the window shut.

The young woman at check-in was the one bright spot. She was helpful, understanding, and did all she could to manage the changes and sort through the many problems. I booked two rooms online, but only one was paid for, and one breakfast wasn't registered even though we'd paid for it the night before while trying to fix the booking errors. We also had trouble with the online booking, including a “free” breakfast that was charged and then refunded. This is an old Ibis budget hotel, and it doesn't feel on brand for the usual B and B hotels experience. The decor is old, rooms haven't been renovated, and communal areas are stained. The images on the app may differ greatly from reality, and they didn't match the property we found. I've chosen this chain for family trips across Europe for years because it has delivered what it promised until now. I understand the company wants to grow, but that shouldn't come at the cost of customer experience. My advice is to stick to your brand values and don't open or renovate a property until you can deliver them.

It does the basics well. A functional, efficient place that meets your basic needs.

Handy for a stop while passing through, since it's close to the motorway. You can't hear the traffic from the rooms.
