Best Western Plus iO Hotel

The staff at reception were professional and helpful, especially Sultan, who gave me useful information. Parking right outside was free, and the hotel felt like good value. Rooms are large, with a comfortable bed, fresh towels and a good hot shower. The restaurant and bar were great, and breakfast had a generous spread for €19. It's outside the busy city center, but the city and airport are both about 15 minutes away. Restaurants and groceries are nearby.

The breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of it, and I really enjoyed the whisky collection at the bar. The gentleman working behind the bar deserves a special mention. My room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and professional.

The restaurant area is great, and the rooms are comfortable. A good hotel if you want to spend the evening in without heading out.

The food was a bright spot: breakfast had an amazing range, and dinner was great considering there isn't much else in the area. The bar is nice and the servers are reasonably good. I was here for work, though, and the rooms feel a bit dated. The bed was great, but the pillows weren't, and while everything looked very clean, my towels smelled like cigarettes. I can only guess that the person who cleaned the room smokes. The air conditioning also wasn't as effective as I'd have liked. The internet simply didn't work, which was a big problem.
