I attended a two-day conference here, and everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly, if a little reserved, and the rooms were clean. The food was good, too. The building has a fascinating mining history, and you can still see where the workers hung their clothes at night.

Alte Lohnhalle has such wonderful style. I haven't felt this good in a while. Everything shows good taste and delicate manners. Maybe this is how life should be!

A quiet spot, and a good choice if that's what you're after. It would be nice if the restaurant were open, but there's currently nothing there.

It's a small hotel in an interesting historic building. The room and breakfast were okay.
