The beds are great and the location is really convenient, which is what you need when you’re only in the room to rest. The walls are thin, though, so you can hear people all around you and it feels a bit like a hostel.

The people are nice, and though it’s an old house, it’s fine. There’s a decent TV room, and the price is fair.

From the huge wooden terrace at the back, the view is impressive, with the Seebuck Tower in sight. The path up Feldberg mountain starts right there. The inn is showing its age, and the dining room has seen better days, but it’s nice, and the beds and rooms were clean. A proper breakfast made me feel very welcome.
