Hotel Zur Schönen Aussicht

The views are awesome, and there's a kids' playground next door. There are lots of opportunities to explore the landscape on foot. The food is local, but inconsistent, so you might have a good day or a bad one. Service could be better. Still, it's worth a try.

We had a decent short stay in a clean, tidy room that was just big enough. The view was spectacular. At the restaurant, the salad was fresh and nicely dressed, the asparagus soup was tasty, and the obazda with a bretzel was very Bavarian and enjoyable. We also liked the helles and Hefeweißen. Overall, good food and super nice beer. Service was good too. Only one woman was serving everyone, but she was nice and almost nothing went wrong with our orders.

We waited almost half an hour for the waitress to take our order. We politely asked her at the bar to serve our table, but it didn't happen. She even served people who arrived after us, so we ended up getting up and leaving. I honestly feel bad that we walked out, since the place looked lovely and I expected a lot more.

The view is stunning, and the beer garden is a great place to relax over very good food. The dishes are tasty and prices are average. The service staff are very friendly and always up for a little chat.
