The restaurant is attractive, and the staff are consistently friendly. We’ve eaten there three times now. The traditional food has a modern touch, looks lovely, and tastes very good. For most dishes, though, the side portions could be a little larger.

The dining room brings traditional and modern hospitality together really well. Prices are reasonable, and the regional food is excellent, made with fresh ingredients and skillfully prepared. The baked goat cheese, venison, and apple Calvados loin stood out in particular.

Lovely local food and good value. Sadly, it’s closing sometime this year. I used to stop in for lunch whenever I was passing through. Go while you still can.
