The room was spacious and attractive, with a very comfortable bed and spotless shower. The reception staff were welcoming too. But we had only one towel for two people and no soap. More upsetting, a staff member came into my room at 10:15 a.m., even though checkout was at 11:00. My wife wasn’t appropriately dressed at the time. That was personally upsetting, and privacy should be respected.

The room was a good size and the breakfast buffet was very good, but the stay had several problems. I’d prepaid, yet was given a lower grade room, and the hotel was too full during the Messe exhibition to move me. Over eight nights, the room was cleaned only three times. The key card also failed to read on three occasions. Paying €800 per night just to be near the Messe during exhibition season is something I definitely won’t do again.

We were very pleased with our November stay. The hotel was clean and central, and reception staff were friendly and attentive. Ms. Funda in the dining department was especially helpful and thoughtful. We’d definitely recommend the hotel.

The location was the only drawback, though that should improve once the U5 extension is built. The rooms were enormous, probably the biggest I’ve stayed in on my travels so far. Staff were friendly, and there were plenty of breakfast choices.
