Hotel Bliss Frankfurt

The street outside was noisy at all hours, making it hard to rest. There were also people visibly struggling with substance abuse in the area, and we felt unsafe coming and going, especially at night. With temperatures outside reaching 34°C, our room became uncomfortably hot because the air conditioner didn't work. There was no window net, so opening a window meant letting insects in. One night we found a giant cockroach on the carpet, which left us uneasy for the rest of the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. They promptly brought extra towels when we asked and let us store our luggage after checkout. The bathroom was clean, but clearly old, with visible water marks and an outdated look that needs refurbishment. An iron wasn't provided in the room and had to be requested at reception, which wasn't ideal. The hotel might do for a very short stay, but I wouldn't recommend it without significant improvements to the facilities and how the location is managed.

Absolutely awful. The bed linen was stained, and the bathroom and toilet hadn't been cleaned. We also had roaches in the room, and the carpet smelled rotten. For the prices they charge, you can definitely find better accommodation in Frankfurt.

The reception staff were helpful, and the room was fine for a mid-range hotel. There were a few small problems: the curtains didn't cover the whole window, so light came in at night, and most of the air conditioning controls were disabled. The tap water isn't safe to drink directly, so bring your own drinking water.

Not a pleasant stay. The bathroom had fresh towels, but that was the only thing that seemed fresh. There was hair everywhere, someone had smoked in the room, and rubbish had been left under the table and not cleaned up. I wouldn't recommend it. Spend €20 and have a better experience.
