Hotel Monopol

The hotel is right beside the main train station, which made the location perfect for me. I stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Anna greeted me on arrival, handled check-in quickly, and her warm, bubbly manner was a lovely start to the stay. The room was fantastic, and I slept very well in the comfortable bed. The fridge was switched on but sadly wasn't getting cold. I had to get some ice, and the staff sorted that out quickly and were very accommodating.

There were lots of halal food options and grocery shops nearby, so I never went hungry. I especially liked the luxurious shampoos and amenities in the room. The station is just across the road, which made getting around on connecting trains much easier and cheaper. Arastoo at reception made me feel welcome and greeted me whenever we met in the lobby, which helped me feel safe. Umar Said from housekeeping kept my room extremely clean and tidy. As a solo female Muslim traveler, I felt safe in the area despite seeing a lot of people who looked suspicious. I was advised to go out only in daylight, so I made sure to return by 6pm at the latest. It was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I've had in a long time, and great for the price.

The complimentary coffee bar was so inviting, and the lobby felt luxurious. The staff and atmosphere made us feel pampered throughout our stay. Everyone working here was polite, helpful, accommodating and nice. We loved being here and highly recommend the hotel. Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦. We'll stay here again when we're in Frankfurt.

The rooms are large and spacious, and the hotel is very central, right by the Hauptbahnhof. The customer service was exceptional. My only issue was the hallway carpet, which is due for replacement. Breakfast was $15, a little cheaper than at other nearby hotels. I recommend the hotel and would stay again.
