Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center

After a week in Dusseldorf, this place felt like a refreshing change. The rooms are modern, quiet, and have a great bed and linens. The restaurants are top notch, and the cigar bar is worth a visit. Service was great, which I hadn’t experienced in Germany yet. Being right at the airport is incredibly convenient, and there was no airport noise in the room. I even mailed some things back to the States at DHL.

It was completely quiet in my room, even though the hotel is right by FRA. I assume the windows are designed to block the noise, and they did the job. The room was modern and clean, with a large TV, nice bed and shower, and all the little things you need when stranded at the airport. Mr Kallouz at the front desk was especially helpful and patient, and room service stood out too. I’ve stayed at airport hotels around the world for business, but this was a remarkable experience. Very friendly, professional staff, and I was very satisfied. A good choice before flying the next day!

I’ve stayed here twice on business, and the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable both times. I couldn’t even send messages efficiently, which makes basic work difficult when you need a stable connection. I’m concerned it still hasn’t been fixed after repeated problems, and hope management makes it a priority. Business travelers who depend on internet access may want to take this into account before booking.

We had to wait until 1pm to get a room, but once we did, things moved quickly. The rooms are on the small side, though clean and well equipped, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is easy to reach, which helped when we unexpectedly had to spend the night at the airport. Prices at the bar and restaurant felt much too high for the location and standard.
