I found two live bedbugs on the bed and, when I checked, the mattress looked filthy and very poorly kept. I ended up with several red, intensely itchy bites on my arms, buttocks, and fingers. When I showed the bugs to staff and asked to change rooms or get help, all they did was repeat that no other rooms were available. They said they check rooms every week, but took no responsibility and were dismissive about the hygiene problem. I couldn’t sleep on that bed, so from 1 AM until checkout I spent the whole night on the cramped bathroom floor. It was traumatic and ruined my trip. This hotel doesn’t meet basic hygiene and safety standards. Think twice before booking if you want to avoid bites and a miserable stay. I’m attaching photos of the bugs I caught.

My room faced the back and was quiet. It was small, but plenty of space for one person, and had everything I needed. Very clean. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

I’ve stayed at Miramar on at least 10 trips to Frankfurt and have never regretted the choice. The location is amazing and the price is great. You’re not getting a luxury hotel, but it’s amazing for what it costs.

Good value for the price. The hotel is nice and central in Frankfurt, with the shops, cathedral, and river all an easy walk away. Staff were really friendly and even took my luggage before check-in as a courtesy. The room was decent, with a small fridge and everything I needed, though the beds could use replacing. Highly recommended.
