The lobby is beautifully done, with plenty of places to sit, books and board games, plus a free candy station and free water. The gym is free to use, and there’s a lovely eating area too. You can get here easily from the Main station on S-Bahn number 11, which leaves you right outside. WiFi works well and the beds are super comfortable. Parking spaces can also be rented. We’re here for two weeks, but already love the place. The design is beautiful, and the room lighting has several nice settings that helped us make it cozy. It has air conditioning, and the shower is incredibly clean. The staff are awesome. I forgot my bag while checking in and they stored it safely. I strongly recommend it, even for a longer stay.

The location on Frankfurt’s east end is good and easy to get around on foot. Runners can follow the water toward downtown for an easy 5-10 km run. The room, though, is Manhattan-small. The bed takes up most of it, there’s little shelf or table space, and working on a laptop is almost impossible. There’s not much room to move around the bed or bathroom. The bed itself is very comfortable, though they’re stingy with pillows, and the shower is roomy. Step out of it and you’re practically on top of the toilet and sink. Watch your rate at check-in. They added a 23 EUR per day per person charge without asking. Germany was the last place I expected this, given how detail-focused and instruction-driven I think the market is. Ridiculous. Management did correct it, but only just enough. In handling that, they behaved very German.

The location is only okay unless you specifically need to be in this area. Supermarkets, a few restaurants and public transport are about a 10-15 minute walk away. The room was small but tidy and clean, with enough space for what you need. Working there is difficult because the table is too tiny even for a small laptop and mouse. The mattress felt worn and wasn’t very comfortable, and I could clearly hear the neighbors through the poor sound insulation. Evening staff were very friendly. In the morning the atmosphere felt different: the staff seemed stressed and not very interested in answering questions or helping, which made things less welcoming.

It’s a clean, modern property that feels like good value for money, with a youthful and lively atmosphere. It’s family friendly, too. Public transport nearby makes it easy to reach Frankfurt city center at any time of day or night. The rooms are comfortable enough for a short stay, but they’re quite basic. There’s no fridge, kettle or in-room safe, things we personally expect at a Marriott property. Oddly, there are two large TVs but none of those basics. Housekeeping happens only once every three days, which may not suit everyone. Breakfast is decent, but about €21 feels expensive when nearby cafés offer cheaper options.
