Numa Frankfurt Blau

Numa Blau is right by a tram stop and an easy walk from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. There's a popular bar next door, a Thai restaurant on the other side, and plenty of other places to eat and drink nearby. I like Numa's app and door code entry, which means no reception, and the complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and water in the room, with more essentials available from a closet. Numa Blua was even more generous with several extra free items, shown in the photo I added. The room was comfortable, with a small galley kitchen separating the bed and wardrobe from the padded seating and table. It also had a small balcony over the main street. Definitely recommend it.

We ended up here after our original accommodation was canceled at the last minute. The automated check-in was convenient, but the apartment itself had serious cleanliness and maintenance problems. The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, the surfaces felt dirty, and the overall condition made it seem like regular housekeeping was lacking. Furniture was visibly worn, and the place looked neglected. The shower door wouldn't close properly, so water spilled onto the bathroom floor every time. The listing mentioned a Chromecast, but it didn't work as described. In fact, the TV only had local German channels, which was limiting for people who don't speak German. The immediate area also has a visible edge population, which may not suit everyone. The modern concept and technology didn't make up for the poor cleanliness, maintenance issues, and inaccurate listing details.

The apartment was filthy. I was there for just 20 minutes before leaving to find somewhere else, and I've never felt compelled to post a negative accommodation review before. The door handle came off as soon as I entered, as shown in photo 1. Completely unacceptable hygiene and service.

The view was great, and the room was modern with a very comfortable bed. But it was damaged in places: there was a burned hole in the floor, and the curtain looked like it might fall. There wasn't any coffee, including in the laundry room, and there were no dishes for cooking. The microwave helped, though. Nice room and location overall for a short trip.
