Star Apart Hotel Sachsenhausen

I really wanted this to become my regular hotel because the breakfast is nice and the gym is good. The gentleman at reception also helped me with my bill, which I appreciated. But I travel around Germany for work every week, and I've never lost sleep for two nights in a row like I did here. On the first night, a room was doing karaoke. With nobody at reception after 3.30 PM, there was no one to complain to. I tried to put that down to bad luck. The next night, already exhausted, I still couldn't sleep because the bar next door had live music so loud I could make out the lyrics. For 160€/night, that makes no sense. I've slept better in hostels. I'm not coming back.

The rooms are nice, but watch out for karaoke at the isoletta restaurant downstairs. It was Monday at 23:30, and the volume was so high my bed was shaking. If you have kids or need to work in the morning, you might want to stay somewhere else.

There were cafes and bakeries nearby, and both the city center and central station were an easy walk away. The breakfast was high quality and had just the right variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern, with complimentary drinks and snacks and well thought-out amenities. A perfect stay. I'd recommend it and would definitely come back to Frankfurt.

Farzad was a wonderful, very friendly host at reception. The hotel is also right beside a good restaurant in the city centre.
