The room was really comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked well. What made the stay especially enjoyable were the people: the woman at reception and Jamal, who worked at the bar and restaurant, were both incredibly helpful and friendly.

The room itself was fine, but the property outside felt neglected. Our supposed garden view was mostly overgrowth, with weeds coming up through the patio. After a month in Europe and nine hotels, this was the weakest breakfast buffet we had, with limited choice and frequent waits for clean dishes. I think management needs to put some money into the facilities and staffing. There was just one person at reception and one tending the bar, which wasn’t enough. We ate at the bar both nights and service was slow. The bartender was working as fast as he could, but there were simply too many customers for one person.

The furnishings are a little dated, but everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, gave great service and were always around when needed. Bringing a dog is no problem.

A quiet place to clear your head, surrounded by nature, with a nice coffee shop and local food. The only thing that bothered us was that the beds were separate.

This place felt like a piglet wearing lipstick, and was a complete waste of money. We ordered drinks during happy hour but got charged full price. When I questioned it, the bartender said he didn’t understand or speak English. I’ve been to remote villages in Bayern and never had trouble finding someone who could at least understand English. The room looked untouched since the 1970s. At check-in, we were warned that because it was a holiday, they might not be able to give my family towels for showering. I honestly think any review above one star is paid. I’m also going to contact Google about allowing negative star ratings. If I could, I’d give this place minus five.
