The shops are just around the corner, and even with such a central location it’s still quiet. We stayed in Friedrichstadt over the weekend of September 12th-14th, 2025, with three couples and a small dog, who was allowed after we arranged it in advance. Hello dear Vera and Jens, your accommodation is fantastic, with great facilities and modern furnishings. We’ll be back! Best regards from Thomas, Susanne & Friends 😃
The canal-side outdoor area is wonderful and reserved exclusively for apartment guests. The apartment itself is very small but adequate, with everything there, including a kitchen with a coffee machine and a small refrigerator.
We spent a few wonderful days here. The apartment has been renovated and furnished with a lot of care and attention to detail, and it’s fun spotting the little touches. Having a few beers right next door with this view was simply beautiful. Vera and Jens are lovely, helpful, and incredibly kind. We’ll definitely come back.
A pretty town, lovely surroundings, and close to the North Sea made the trip even better. We had wonderful days in Friedrichstadt and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Kajüte 1876." The bright, welcoming apartment won us over straight away, and the balcony view over the garden and canal was enchanting. Vera and Jens are charming, attentive hosts. Next time we’ll stay a few days longer.
The landlords were incredibly friendly and helpful, and always happy to answer questions. We stayed in the cabin over New Year's Eve 2024/25, making the apartment "Grachtendroemer" our home. It was charmingly furnished, very clean, and centrally located in the old town on the Treene River. The kitchen had the usual household things, like dish soap, and nothing was missing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it, so it gets our highest rating.
