My wife and I spent four days in Füssen and have only good things to say about this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, our room was clean and comfortable, the location made everything central, and breakfast was amazing. When my wife was ill and stayed in the room for a day, the proprietor left the coffee machine in the breakfast area on. That let her make herbal tea throughout the day without using the coin-operated coffee machine, which we really appreciated. I regret that we were rushing to catch an early train out of Füssen and I forgot to leave a tip for the cleaning staff. I also think some of the negative reviews may come from guests mixing this hotel up with another one with a similar name. “Garni” means “furnished room” and is used by many hotels in the area. This hotel isn't above a smoking lounge. A similarly named hotel across the Lech is. We were also able to get our invoice by email. I highly recommend this hotel.

The host was quite nice, and the rooms were big. The central location was convenient, close to the old town and plenty of restaurants. But the cleanliness was poor: the floor was dusty and sticky, and we felt it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We didn't want to walk on it barefoot. Some bathroom tiles were broken and loose, and there was a hole in the wall under the TV. For the price, I wouldn't recommend the room.

The staff could be nicer, and there are stairs to reach the rooms. It's a perfect spot for visiting the city, though finding nearby parking isn't easy. Better to book the hotel's private car park and pay the fee. The rooms were clean, just a bit too small, and the bathroom with its walk-in shower was nice.

The room was just right, and the bathroom was better than most I've come across. I especially liked the salt lamps, and breakfast was great too. The place had such a lovely, quaint atmosphere. I’m from the U.S. and really enjoyed my stay. Thanks for the service and accommodations, I’d happily recommend it.

The garbage truck arrived at 0700 and was incredibly loud. The smell of garbage hung around all morning, and with the room facing the alley there was no breeze to help. It was very hot inside, with no AC or fans. For the price, the rooms were substandard and the service mediocre. I wouldn’t spend the money again.
