Alte Kornbrennerei Gbr

The green, pleasant setting is nice, though there isn't much nearby. The closest supermarket is in the next town, about an hour on foot or 15 minutes by bike. I had dinner at the restaurant; the food was okay, but fairly expensive. My room looked good and was comfortable, though WiFi barely worked on the first floor and there was no mobile reception in the area. The bathroom had no shower gel or shampoo. Reception was unattended when I arrived, but an email explained how to check in. I didn't interact much with staff. Two people spoke no English, and one spoke a little. The hotel was fine, just nothing more than that.

We had breakfast for €10, and it was genuinely excellent. Dinner at the hotel was delicious and good value too, so we ate there every evening. The staff were really friendly, and the spacious room had a fridge, a big TV, a comfortable bed with extra pillows, and a clean bathroom. We didn't need anything else. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

Breakfast was available to add at the hotel, and for €10 per person it went well beyond what we expected. There was lots to choose from, lovely fruit, and filled croissants. The gentleman who welcomed us was friendly, right on time, and very accommodating. He'd even switched on the heating in our rooms already. Everything was clean and nicely furnished, and our rooms had refrigerators. It was a short stay, but a wonderful one. Thank you!

It's very peaceful here, about 5 kilometers outside the principality. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious with a comfortable bed and excellent Wi-Fi. I'd happily stay here again.
