Fiakerhof

We first asked in November 2024 about bringing five people to stay over New Year's Eve 2025/2026. The Fiakerhof said bookings wouldn't open until March 2025. When we got back in touch then, we were told every room had already gone to regular guests. That's poor customer service, and we won't ask them about anything again.

The apartment itself was lovely, and having a sauna on site was handy. But we felt pretty poorly looked after. We couldn't book the apartment until Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday wasn't an arrival day, even though hotel guests at the Werdenfelserei, which is part of the apartment complex, could arrive then. There wasn't much crockery, some of it didn't match, and the glasses were dirty. Slippers weren't provided, and breakfast or spa access at the hotel wasn't possible because booking a day ahead was considered too late. The sauna area also seemed unattended, with used cups left out and no fresh towels. We even found silverfish, including in the bed. No one replied to our review or even responded earlier through the chat. I'm appalled at how indifferent they were to our concerns.

The horses were well cared for and felt safe, and the service was friendly and professional. On a perfect winter day, the carriage was quickly changed into a sleigh while we were on the road. We got fantastic views of Garmisch's breathtaking snowy landscape. Thank you, Mr. Erhardt.

For a bachelorette party, I booked an hour in the carriage, and we had such a lovely time. We rode through Garmisch-Partenkirchen and its beautiful scenery, sitting comfortably the whole way. The driver was really friendly, and the horses were lovely too. Thank you, Leo and Lantano 🐴🥰🐴. A day we'll remember! ☀️
