The view was nice, and it was a quiet place. If you arrive late, let the host know. Otherwise, you could find the door locked, with nobody answering the bell.

Breakfast on the terrace was a five-star experience, with a great view. The breakfast itself was well balanced, and we woke to birds singing. After a day of cycling, it was lovely to sit in the shade on our full-width balcony on the top floor and have a cold drink from the cooler downstairs. The rooms were clean and more modernly furnished, though the restaurant decor felt like it belonged to the last century. It did feel a bit like stepping back in time.

The rooms were impeccable, and the whole place felt cozy and quiet. Hospitality is clearly taken seriously here. Breakfast had lots of variety, but you need to arrange your own meals on the other days. Our dinner was delivered, and the burgers from the Italian restaurant were delicious. If it works out, we’d gladly come back.
