After a long workday, the quiet, peaceful area was just what I needed. The hotel has a cozy, old fashioned Bavarian look, and the staff were incredibly caring and kind. After I checked out, I realized I’d left my jewelry in the room, and they kept it safe. I really appreciated their honesty and warmth.

We stayed here for a night without any trouble, and this was our second time choosing the place on our way to the Italian mountains. The rooms are simple and nicely equipped, with a kettle, and there’s a nice bar in the lobby. Breakfast was always generous and tasty.

Our flight was cancelled on the day we were due to arrive, during the July 2024 “The Microsoft” airplane disruption, so we had to cancel our apartment booking that same evening. We’d booked a non-refundable fare, but the owners kindly refunded our money anyway. Thank you!

The hotel has a very good restaurant with tasty food and dishes. It’s a nice place near Starnberg Lake, and Munich is about 30 minutes away by train and bus, with good access to the center.

The village is very quiet and has a typical Bavarian feel. The rooms were good and clean, though I didn’t like the bed and couldn’t sleep very well. Breakfast was pretty basic, nothing special, but there was nothing to complain about. For the price, it’s fair.
