For me, 39 euros per person is too much for this brunch. The food was edible, but nothing stood out, and the chefs at the buffet had dirty aprons on. I cooked professionally for 16 years, and that’s definitely not okay. Come on, where’s the professional pride? The service staff were friendly enough and the location was good, but there’s a lot that needs improving. Maybe I’ll come back in a few months and check again.

We used to enjoy eating here, especially for the lovely setting and beautiful old building. But the food quality and value for money have fallen behind. The interior is dated, though I could overlook that if the food were good. There were seven of us, and two beef filets had to be sent back because they were well done instead of medium rare. My overcooked prawn pasta came with two and a half prawns. I could list more. We’ve visited a few times a year and shared our feedback with the kitchen and head of restaurant, who appreciated it, but I don’t see us returning anytime soon.

The junior suite was huge, and there was plenty of room for me, my wife, and our two kids. The beds were quite hard, though. We only stayed one night, but the hotel seemed well set up for weddings and is beautifully placed in the middle of the park. Breakfast was fantastic: fresh orange juice, a cooked breakfast, fresh rolls and pastries, meat, and cheese. The waitress was amazing!

Our team had a great meal at the restaurant, and when the bill arrived, the prices were great too. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, even with our large dinner group. The food took a long time to arrive, which was pretty painful. I’d definitely recommend it for a special occasion, though bring a platinum card and a platinum attitude. Loved it!
