The staff and car park were fine, EV charging was convenient, and the place was generally clean. The room, though, was really not good. The loose shower screen and its design, or maybe a missing part, left water on the floor. There were stains on the floor and bath tiles, orange and black mould all through the grout, and a bath tap that still needed manual mixing. The window frame was aged, a spotlight didn’t work, and the showerhead was blocked and leaking at the side. The sprinkler cover was dirty and loose. The rooms are 10 years overdue for a major refurb and at least 2 years overdue for a deep clean and repairs. WiFi kept disconnecting, so we gave up and went back to 5G roaming. Not great for €100+.

The food was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet had something for every taste. I only booked this hotel at the last minute as a break on the long drive from Denmark to UK, so I was surprised by how grand it was. My room was really comfortable and I slept well. Service was pleasant and hassle-free, even with the language barrier.

The staff were the best part, laughing and singing while they looked after the rooms. WOW!!! I also really appreciated getting a room upgrade and a free welcome drink. It’s a very nice place in a good location, with a great breakfast. The rooms do need renovation, but I saw that work had already started today. I’ll be back :)

The rooms had been newly renovated and looked stunning, and breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from. When we arrived, the service was some of the best we’ve had. They even had a special station where kids could pick a balloon, crayons, and a picture. Absolutely AMAZING, highly recommend!

Dog parks nearby made the beautiful surroundings especially nice for me and my dog, and the hotel was truly dog-friendly. I stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Renovations were happening in another part of the hotel, but they didn’t disturb me at all. Free parking was a big plus and made everything convenient. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
