We loved this friendly restaurant and would happily come back. The traditional Bavarian food had some delicious variations, and there was a good wine list as well as beer, of course. Service was fast, and the staff spoke good English. We enjoyed the decor and listening to the harp and accordion. Even sorting out the COVID tracking and WiFi was seamless.

The area was lovely and quiet, with a restaurant on site, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our double room was warm and comfortable with good WiFi, though the bathroom was a little small. Breakfast choices were limited. The restaurant staff didn't speak English, and the menu wasn't available in English either, but overall it was a nice stay.

8/10
The rooms were nice, the food excellent, and the service fine. It felt like a 4.5 experience. The location is a bit away from Tegernsee and Rottach-Egern, which also means it's cheaper.

The lake, ferry, and train station are close by. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Taxis to tergensee can take a while, so plan ahead.

We walked over from the lake to this cool spot and had delicious schnitzel and spare ribs. The servers were very friendly, dressed in dirndls and lederhosen.
