The hosts were wonderful, and the double room was very well kept. Right away, I felt safe and comfortable. The bathroom sparkled, and the room was furnished with everything needed for a vacation: a desk, roomy wardrobe, very comfortable bed, plenty of lighting by the bed and on the ceiling, a floor lamp, and a TV. Breakfast had a huge selection: crisp fresh rolls, butter, cocoa, coffee, tea, orange juice, crispbread, cereal, and more, plus lots of sausage specialties, jams, fruit, and even yogurt. The atmosphere is a little quaint, but it suits the small town of Goch perfectly. The service at Friedenseiche is considerably more upscale than at various “highly praised” hotel chains in North Rhine-Westphalia. For me, it's an absolute insider tip on the Lower Rhine.

A well-run, attentive testing center that’s great with children. Just scan the QR code beforehand, enter and save your details, then head in for testing. The staff treat children with real kindness and sensitivity. Truly great!

This old place costs far too much. For the same price, you can get a B&B hotel that's much cleaner and in new condition. Everything here feels old, from the water coming out of the shower head to the bed with its foam mattress.

I only stopped briefly to pick someone up. The place looked very neat and clean, and the staff were very friendly to me.
