The buffet breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful with exceptional service. It’s a nice, clean hotel near the city centre and only a short walk from the train station. There’s no air conditioning, which usually wouldn’t be an issue, but we were there during a very hot summer.

It has an old style German *** hotel feel, a bit like the 80s, though reasonably updated. The location is very close to Hauptbahnhof and the old city centre.

The location is handy, between the train station and the altstadt. This cozy hotel is in a 280 year old building with period features, and the rooms are comfortable with excellent beds. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with cold cuts, melon, ham, mozzarella and tomato, quark, granola, fruit, bacon and eggs, plus a fruit bowl and a daily treat like salmon or brie. The staff are especially friendly and helpful, a huge plus.

A fairly clean, accessible little old hotel, right in the city centre. Cute place.

The bed was really comfy, and the hotel is cleaned thoroughly throughout. Breakfast has a good selection and everything was fresh. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. It’s a nice hotel in a historic building, but I’d give it only four stars because the decor is a little dated and there’s just one foreign language channel on the TV.
