Check-in is very flexible, and the motel itself is great. The rooms have a few essentials, but they're very small. That isn't necessarily a problem, except at this price: over €70 per person isn't exactly cheap, even if the motel calls itself the "smallest motel in the Elbauel Valley." Cleanliness could be better, with a few cobwebs on the ceiling. The bed and bathroom seemed clean, though, and there was only a slight smell in the room.

We mentioned over breakfast that it was our wedding anniversary, and that evening the lovely owner came to our door with chilled sparkling wine and two glasses. Such a thoughtful surprise. Our room was spotless and we felt at home right away. The attached snack bar serves a cozy breakfast with freshly made sandwiches. We spent two days there in September and couldn't have asked for better. We'd love to come back!

Small but nice, and clean. The room had everything needed for an overnight stay when all you want is a shower and a bed. Thankfully, it was already warmed up when we arrived.

The bikes were stored really well, and breakfast at the attached truck stop was quite good. There aren't many options for cyclists in the area, though. My clean room was very cold, and the toilet cleaner left such a strong smell that I woke with a headache the next morning.

I had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely return. The motel has plenty of charm, and although the rooms are small, they don't feel cramped. The furnishings are practical but still homey. There's also a huge TV and free Wi-Fi.
