Hotel-Heilsberg

The breakfast room downstairs had tea, coffee, bread with a toaster, and spreads available all day. Our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed where we both slept really well. We chose the balcony room, which had a small private balcony leading onto the main balcony shown in the pictures. There were also a couple of sofas, a flat-screen TV, and separate toilet and shower rooms. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and kept in touch before we arrived. We were there a few weekends ago for a wedding in town. The hotel was easy to find and less than a 10-minute walk from the train station. They'd provided plenty of things in the room, including extra blankets, towels in different sizes, shower gel, and a hair dryer. My only small complaint is that the curtains were very thin, though honestly it didn't affect our sleep. Really nice hotel, and I'd recommend staying here.

This was my second stay, and the relaxed family atmosphere, roomy rooms, and cleanliness are what we love most. Having our own lockable fridge space is especially useful. They were also happy to help with little things, from finding a safety pin to booking a return flight on the computer.

The town is quiet and pleasant, and we'll certainly come back next time we're in the country. The hosts were charming, spoke excellent English, and made us feel very welcome. They even let us book a room over the phone and extended check-in because we were arriving late. The rooms were cosy, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely rustic German style. Everything was at a high standard. We heartily recommend this wonderful hotel.

There was enough parking, and finding the place was easy. My room looked just like the pictures and was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone in the area.
