Stefanutti Hof

Each morning we got fresh bread rolls and delicious milk, and we loved helping in the barn and feeding the calves every day. Many thanks to Hansi and Kerstin for giving us that insight. We spent a wonderful week in the "Grandma's World" apartment, which was spotlessly clean, fully equipped with plenty of dishes and cutlery, and very comfortable. The pony rides are arranged through a family friend. That’s our one criticism: even though we only took up 30 minutes of their time, we unfortunately felt as if we were intruding. Apart from that, everything was fantastic, and the farm is highly recommended for young and old alike.

The area is beautiful, and this guesthouse is highly recommended. The Stefanutti family are friendly and very capable at sorting out any problems. Bringing a dog along when booking was no issue.

The view of the Alps is breathtaking, and the Stefanutti Farm makes a good base for hikes and bike rides around Lake Chiemsee. The motorway is just 5 minutes away by car, so day trips to Salzburg are easy. Children can help in the barn or go horseback riding for a small fee, and there are plenty of ways to play, including a play tower, ride-on toys, and board games for rainy days. We’ve stayed three times and already planned our next holiday. The farm is peaceful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the Stefanutti family are friendly and always make time for guests, including sharing excursion tips. One small drawback: in the Hochfelln room, clicking relays from the electrical box for the neighboring room repeatedly woke us. The farmer looked into it right away after we mentioned it, but the problem couldn’t be fixed during our stay. It’s also a shame there’s a balcony door but no balcony. Adding one would make the rooms even nicer.

Cycling paths begin right outside, and Lake Chiemsee is just a stone’s throw away. We had a few lovely days at Stefanutti-Hof, with all we needed for a peaceful short break for two: nature, quiet, and warm hospitality. The cozy evenings on the terrace and delicious breakfasts were especially nice. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back.
