The location was handy, right in town and fairly close to Basel by bus. The stop is only about ten minutes away. I stayed three nights and enjoyed it. My room was spacious and very clean, with an en suite bathroom and shower and good hot water. The bed was comfortable, though the sheets were much too short. Maybe an easy mistake for a Chinese person to make, cough! The Wi-Fi was very fast, which mattered for my online work. Staff were friendly, and the owner is a lovely woman who kindly let me stay a bit past the noon checkout time. At 50 euros a night without breakfast, the price was very good. Recommended.

For an affordable hotel close to Basel, this is a good option. The rooms are clean and large, and the price isn’t high.
