Hotel Central Restaurant El Barrio

That very good Mexican restaurant nearby stays open late, which was handy. We spent two days here and were very happy with the stay. Our room was roomy and clean, and breakfast was excellent, especially the fried egg. We'd gladly come back.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The room matched what I'd expect for its star rating, but it wasn't very comfortable. A rug, some cushions, and a bit of decoration could make a big difference. The entrance is the real problem: you practically step straight into the kitchen, with rags on the floor, noise, and a greasy smell. There's no reception desk. It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't stay again.

Breakfast was served at the table rather than as a buffet, but it had everything you'd expect. The scrambled eggs were especially good. The rooms are very spacious, the bathroom is lovely and large, and the staff are really friendly. We'd happily stay here again.

The rooms are large and comfortable, with plenty of space for kids to play indoors if the weather turns bad. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
