The bathroom was dirty, and breakfast was very basic. By mid-breakfast the buffet looked like a war zone. For the level offered, this is expensive and poor value. The place has seen better days and now feels run-down, like it's waiting for renovation.

The hotel is in a nice spot that's easy to reach, but the bathtub made the stay unsafe. Its edge was very high, the floor was slippery, and there was nothing to hold on to. My wife slipped and suffered a concussion. We also couldn't eat breakfast because we had to leave early. The concierge took our details and offered a breakfast to go, but the staff setting up the next morning knew nothing about it, and no one else was there to help. I've contacted the hotel three times and haven't had a response in a month.

I travel for work every week, and I've never had worse service at a hotel. My flight was delayed, so I arrived late, only to find the hotel closed after 23.00. None of the emergency phone numbers worked. The only way I could get in was through a colleague who was asleep at the hotel, and I had to share the room with them. The hotel said it had emailed me an entry code, but I never received one. They still charged me. It felt like I was paying for an escape room instead of a hotel. The worst part is that there's no one to reach after hours, no working phones, no staff available, and the lights are shut off. If you're out after 23.00, you may not be able to get back in because the codes and emergency phones don't work. When my colleague let me in, we had to help another guest who'd gone out and was locked outside. What are guests supposed to do in an emergency or if they're locked out, call the police? The service was poor, the emergency arrangements felt dangerous, breakfast staff were unfriendly, the parking was closed, the amenities were really bad, and it was noisy with no air conditioning. The list goes on.

The staff at Best Western were friendly, accommodating, and always smiling, and they did their best to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, with plenty of options, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. My experience was mixed, though. The rooms were nice and spacious, but the particular room I got was in bad shape, outdated, and in need of an update. Even so, I'd still recommend Best Western as a decent place to stay for its service and amenities.
