The staff here are so welcoming, and the whole stop is clean, tidy, and well lit. I break up my drive here at Guxhagen, whether I have 9-11 hours or just a short pause. The woman at the checkout was lovely and speaks Russian, and there are Russian-speaking staff in the restaurant too. The home-style food is seriously tasty, and there are shops and a swimming pool on site. I always leave with a great impression of Guxhagen Autohof, and wish everyone safe travels and the RestPark staff good customers and peaceful shifts. For a three-day stay, it costs €45, with €30 returned as credit for the restaurant or for groceries, drinks, or fast food from the gas station shop. You can pay at the machine or at the counter. The shop has a good range of goods and fast food. Showers cost €4 and toilets €1, and the tickets can be refunded. You can also fill up with water at the gas pumps for €1. There are three outdoor washing machines, and you can pay by card or cash. For the LKW parking lot, drive up to the entrance at 51.2024048 9.4686092, press the button, take a ticket, and go in. We found this truck stop in Guxhagen on our way back from Thuringia to the Ruhr area, after getting fed up with the motorway service stations' sky-high fuel prices. The prices here were normal, and the staff were so friendly, attentive, and courteous. The restrooms were clean too. We'll definitely return for fuel and a break, maybe even stay overnight. I was especially surprised when staff politely asked whether we had the right change for the restroom and offered change for our bill. I've never had that happen before, usually it's the opposite. I don't understand how anyone could complain about service like this, not just the help with change. Some service stations are best avoided because they're dirty, overpriced, and the staff answer rudely. A big thank you to the team here. We'll be back in Guxhagen!
