The terrace tucked into nature is lovely, and I really like the hotel's eco-friendly approach. It's a great place to stay, and I still enjoyed the sauna and everything else here. Just a heads-up for anyone unfamiliar with German saunas: it may be mixed-gender, so change in the locker room before going in. I didn't, and felt embarrassed when I opened the door and saw men and women inside. I could see everything clearly from the sauna while looking out, too. I did look inside and saw a woman, but I'm half blind and didn't spot any men. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 My room was near the parking lot, so it could get a little noisy, though the soundproofing worked pretty well with the door shut. The bathroom fan kept switching itself on and off, which was disruptive. Breakfast was decent but quite standard, and lunch choices were limited, so I didn't eat here. There are activities like full-moon hikes and meditation that sound fun, but I ran out of time to join. There was also an intriguing therapeutic device that I wasn't sure how to use. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant exceeded our already high expectations, and the hotel lived up to them too. It's perfectly placed in the middle of the Teutoburg forest for a longer stay. After a long hike, the sauna and pool are great for unwinding, and the strudel available all day is worth remembering.

The setting and atmosphere were stunning, and the food was unforgettable. I stopped by this afternoon, and it was easily one of the best meals I've had. Absolutely worth it, highly recommend!

Set among farmland in a lovely, peaceful spot, the hotel also has a very good restaurant. Breakfast has a generous, wide selection, and it's a great place for dinner too. The spa is relaxing, with a pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I'd book the deep tissue massage ahead of time.
