SOLLER Business Hotel – Munich Airport MUC

The women at the front desk were warm, attentive, and patient, and they helped me through a stressful couple of days. My experience with them was the opposite of the reviews I'd read. I was there at the end of October, when things seemed quieter, which I liked. The room was immaculate, and having a bath let me soak away some travel stress. I'd absolutely recommend Soller. The one part I wasn't happy with was transport to the airport. You have to arrange it yourself, and it cost 28 euro each way even though the hotel is pretty close. Maybe I'm just used to American hotel shuttles.

The room was cozy, clean, and nice. Great location very close to the airport. Parking and breakfast cost extra.

My wife and I stayed two nights, 9-11.4.25, and paid more than €400 for a room without breakfast. After a 13-hour flight and with three heavy suitcases, nobody offered any help. We received no service at all, and housekeeping didn't clean the room or empty the trash bins after the first night. I've never had an experience like this in Germany, and I won't return.

The hotel itself is fairly modern and decent, but the reception left us with a disappointing impression. After a long day on the road, we stopped for the night and found the welcome lacking. We politely asked whether they could match a lower price we'd seen on Booking.com, and got a curt reply that we could look elsewhere if unhappy. There was no fridge in our room, and housekeeping never came during our two-night stay. That's not the service I expect from a business hotel. It may be worth checking other nearby options if you can.
