Hotel Am Ratshof

We had a very clean, comfortable room in a quiet spot. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, delicious, and excellent. Everyone was friendly, and communication was great. Thanks for the lovely stay. We'll definitely come back on our next visit.

Breakfast was very basic, with ready-baked rolls and cheap cheese and sausage. The shower cubicle doesn't close properly and needs renovating. Staff were hardly ever around. It's an older hotel, but the location is good, right near the market square.

The building is over 500 years old, with tall ceilings and windows, and I think anyone who appreciates that kind of place will love it. This has become one of my favorite hotels, even after staying in many places at different prices. We had a two-room suite for three, plus a bathroom. The antique-style furniture was high quality, the mattresses were comfortable, and the bed didn't make a sound, which is unusual. Everything was very clean. There was a kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, water for each guest, soap, and shampoo. Someone is at reception around the clock, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast and parking are available, but ask about parking because finding a spot yourself is difficult. My only little complaint is that there was no refrigerator in summer. People writing bad reviews may just be spoiled or expect too much from hotels. Thanks for such a lovely time 🌹

The breakfast room has a small, charming vaulted ceiling, and breakfast has everything you need. The price seems reasonable to me, though you do need to be able to manage stairs. We slept quietly despite being right in the city center. The building is old, but the bathroom was fine, and the bed on the top floor was comfortable, with an excellent mattress. The owner isn't very good at German, though she speaks English, and she was helpful and friendly. If you like a bit of nostalgia, this hotel is a good choice.
