The host was fantastic and very friendly. The room and apartment are in a modernized turn-of-the-century building, and the place leaves virtually nothing to be desired. My room overlooked the garden and railway embankment, so it was quiet away from the commotion outside. It has the feel of a worker's room in a period building. I felt comfortable and would stay again on my next business trip.

The landlord was nice and discreet, and everything was clean with a thoroughly modern style of furnishings. The only drawback is the rather drab main street location. Still, the Schanzenviertel district is only a 10-minute walk away.
